Upgraded to 1.0.16 and PVRX2 wont open on the PC but the MVP works (somewhat)

Ok, I upgraded yesterday, and I got Schedules Direct working. The MVP will play back, but when I try to start a recording from the TV guide it freezes.

A bigger problem is that PVRX2 doesn't open for me. It opens the outline of the window, but the inside is transparent (you can see the program behind it). When you move the window around, the background drags with it (so it isn't transparent, it is frozen). The mouse is an hourglass, but the close button at the top right works.

Logs are attached for the PVRX2 problem, I'll have to post the MVP ones later because I can't test that from work.

Have you got any plugin`s installed? if so disable them in the config and see if it works. Also are you trying to use a different skin? If so try using the default blue 1.

I did disable all plugins last night a retest, it didn't help. They are all standard plugins anyway, nothing special or modified.

For the skin, I was using blue on the computer and "default" on the MVP. I changed the MVP to blue, but I can't test until tonight to see if that fixes the MVP freezing issue (VNC to control the computer, but no way to see or control the MVP from work). I'll post then. Thanks.

Several people have reported the blank screen issue and I think it related to your video card. Make sure your video card drivers are current, that you have DirectX 9 on your system and your card supports VMR9

The MVP problem could be related to the channel you are watching. Since you are recording your digital channels with the DVR-MS mux, I think you are going to have problems. A lot of people have had success with the Cyberlink mux.
