Greetings

I'm getting poor livetv. It's not jerky but more like "chugging along" like it's wanting to show but like the cpu is over taxed. Thing is that I've checked the cpu (Opteron 165) utilization and it's ~5%.

I did have pure video decoder set and so tried system defaults but that only lost audio.

I'm running pvrx2 16 and output is through 6800GS component. What else should I provide in hopes of getting help resolving this ?

btw I stopped everything and cleared out the logs then tried again so here are the fresh logs.

Just like you're thinking, I'd try more video decoders.

I'd start by grabbing Gabster MPV video decoder. It's free and seems to have few problems. After that you could try I think you can get the Cyberlink one for free by downloading a PowerDVD trial and it stays after the trial is done. Not sure about that, but at the worst you'd still have the decoder for 30 days for testing.

With a March join date and 400 posts, did this just start happening out of nowhere? Or maybe you recently switched to PVRx2.
