Sub, I'm not trying to be mean. My apologies if I offended you.

I'm offering constructive criticism. As I said earlier, you have, by far, the best PVR program out there - free or otherwise - and I've tried them all. Locking the window aspect ratio to the video being played is just plain logical. Many video players do just that, including Intervideo WinDVD.

ACTCMS, I understand how the F7 key works, but I think the window should resize and reshape when you press F7 for a different aspect ratio. A desktop window is not a piece of hardware.

While we are talking about this, when GB-PVR is windowed, you can make it any size and shape you want, but if you resize it, you have to guess if the aspect ratio is about right. The window should lock down the aspect ratio to the video being played, and still allow you to resize. Again, many media players do it that way.

I think we should agree to disagree on this issue... Smile

I know what you mean about the aspect ratio. The one thing the 16:9 aspect ratio window does give you when playing 4:3 content, is the ability to tell exactly what the 16:9 screen will look like in full screen mode on your television. This is a valuable tool for troubleshooting.

Are you saying that you want to stretch the 4:3 display to 16:9? If it did that, then people would be complaining of poor quality of playback, not to mention the "widehead" effectSmile
You could always use the "zoom" function of your TV.
