I'm getting weird behavior.

If I open PVRX2 and immediately close I get an error about "error occuring, needs to close." I've attached the logs.

If open it and do anything within the program i.e. watch a recording then exit out and restart the program I get an "IRQL Not Less or Equal" blue screen dump with cryptic 0x00000a message and no reference to a particular file.

I'm hoping these are one in the same and fixing the first will give me something to go on with the second. Also is there any way to get a list of IRQ assignments? I see it as the POST screen when the computer boots, but it goes by way to fast to copy down.....

Digging through the logs I found this line that seems telling in PVRX2.exe.log

FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:: System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException: SQLite error
library routine called out of sequence
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLite3.Close()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Close()
at System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteConnection.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
at System.ComponentModel.Component.Finalize()

Any ideas?

Sub,

Well some googling turned up how to list out the IRQ assignments. Does anything seem strange here:

Its done this pretty much forever. The error occurs if you exit the app before tv listings finish loading in the background.

That'll be something else. Most likely a bug driver, or some flakey memory or something similar.

Any suggestions on how to diagnose the blue screen dump? Are there any utilities that will "monitor" this and give more info?

It's weird because only PVRx2.exe does this. And only on the restart of PVRx2. If I don't exit the program everything runs totally stable for days at a time -- recording, playing movies, everything.

I'm not really expert in diagnosing blue screens, so dont have a lot of recommendations for you.

Some times the bluescreen messages give the details of the faulting module, which if you're lucky refers to a specific driver. I'm guessing its going to be your videocard drivers.

I followed the instructions here: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35246

These may be very useful to others in a similar situation.

The culprit is apparently: atkosdmini.dll which is called by process pvrx2.exe

Does this give anyone any ideas?

atkosdmini.dll isnt a GB-PVR file. It sounds like its probably part of the ATI drivers. I'd try a different version of the ATI drivers, or google for "atkosdmini.dll 0x0000000A" or something similar.

I looked in Add/Remove programs for anything by ASUS and found that although I'm using the nVidia chipset 8500 video card the actual manufacturer and driver I was using was ASUS. I replaced this with the one from the nVidia website and everything is working now.
