Hi,

I've been trying to work this out for a while - well all of today. Initially was getting black and white picture with a diagonal line appearing across the screen on movement.

I reinstalled all my drivers etc. and now I'm getting a colour picture but its very jerky - especially at the begining and audio sync is out by about 5 seconds.

Picture and audio sync seems OK under WinTV2000.

Any ideas anyone? It's an Athlon 900Mhz using VIA chipsets.

Thanks in advance for any help.
GB-PVR 1.0.16 (recording service and database) running on: VIA EPIA 5000 (533Mhz), 512MB, 40GB HD, PVR-150MCE, USB-UIRT controlling Sky Digital box.

GB-PVR 1.3.11 (front-end and client for above) running on: Toshiba NB100 netbook 1.6Ghz, 160GB HD, 1GB RAM.

Front-end viewed on 2xMVPs (using mvpmc dongle).

Don't think its a GB_PVR issue as I haven't been able to get Windows MovieMaker or media encoder to work either.

Looks like a driver / incompatibility issue. Just my luck! This card is a lot better quality wise than the Win TV-Go I had but Hauppauge still strike me as a bit rubbish at creating drivers /software. Still not completely happy with the TV picture mind even in WinTV 2000 - blurs on fast movement - but I am comparing it against an analogue signal (bring back analogue I say :-) )

Can someone please tell me whether they can get Windows Movie Maker or media encoder to capture from this card?

Thank you.

Hi,

I dont know if the PVR-150 is the same as the 500 but I have had heaps of trouble making my PVR-500 go and in the end I have found they dont like AMD chipsets.

I plugged it into an old PIII 733 and it worked like a charm. So I went and brought a PIV 3.0G Shuttle.. no complaints now :-)

Maybe the PVR-150 is processor fussy too?

Cheers
