If you have it set to 'true' then it'll use the GB-PVR built-in TS Reader. This does understand AAC LATM, and will give you audio (with monogram decoder installed), but does have an audio/video sync issue. I'm still looking into this.

I have it set to true but don't get audio

sub Wrote:If you add the monogram aac decoder to that GraphEdit graph, you should be able to connect it to the audio pin. Does this work?

Added the GB-PVR TSReader and linked to the file you provided. Then added the Monogram AAC filter and connected the output of the TSReader filter to the Xform input on the Monogram Filter. Graphedit automatically added MPEG-2 Demux filter and connected the ouput of the TSReader to its input and the audio output of the MPEG-2 filter to the XForm in on the Monogram Filter. This seems correct?

If you right click the 'output' and 'video' pins and select 'render', then hit the play button at the top of graphedit, do you get audio and video? If not, post a screenshot of the graph you ended up with.

Just FWIW PowerDVD 8 seems to now support AAC-LATM audio. I'm about to do some testing but this may obviously solve some of the audio problems that are occuring with the Monogram decoder.

Hi Sub

Thanks for the quick response. Some partial success. If I render the pins in graphedit I get the following.

If I play the file in graphedit I get the pixelated video as noted before but I can hear the audio for about 5-10 seconds and then it stops.

Trying the same file in gbpvr I get the same result - pixelated video (which must because I don't have H.264 support in my video card), audio for about the 5-10 seconds as before and then nothing.

So making progress here

Ok, at least you are getting some audio in GB-PVR.

The reason for the pixelation and loss of audio is most likely because your machine is not able to keep up with playback.

Looks like I'm there then. Just have to do the upgrade of the video card and see what happens. Also will be interested to see how PDVD8 works since it can decode the LATM audio, then life will be much easier. Thanks for the help
