Hi sub,

i made some progress, found out that the batch re-register filters helps. Now scanning is possible, but no channels are found, see logs attached.

Is there a way to enter the channel configuration manually based on the configuration from progdvb?

Does gbpvr finds only decoded channels, because i do not have got a smartcard yet, but progdvb shows the channles at same freq, etc!

Thanks,
Dietmar

GB-PVR never managed to start the device, so no data was ever delivered to GB-PVR>

Hi Sub,

hmm, i think i will try a fresh installation! But, i figured out that i have to use the ci interface for this card, because my cable provider has a base encryption for all digital channels.

Do you have got an idea if this module should work at all?

Thanks,
Dietmar

Unfortunately there is no support for CI modules. You might be able to use multidec plugins to do the same thing though - thats what I use for viewing my encrypted DVB-C channels.

Well, bad news. Is there no CI Support within gbpvr at all or just for my fucking cinergy card?

My cable provider has all his digital channels crypted!

Thanks,

There is no CI support for any card, but as I said many people here are using multidec for the same purpose. For example I use a phoenix smartcard reader, plus my subscription card, plus yankse multidec plugin to watch my Irdeto encrypted digital cable DVB-C channels.
