EPG problems on new machine

I have been using gb-pvr for some time and decided to set it up on another (dedicated) machine using the same dvb-t card.

Config detects two other compatible cards for my kworld dvb-t 100. When I do 'update epg' the epg warning box pops up for a few seconds and then disappears? I have made sure the record/tv directories exist and the cyberlink mux was installed with my card's software (if that is relevant?). I dropped back to a previous version of gb-pvr thinking this may make a difference as it worked for me before.

My card works with the kworld software...I have run out of ideas?

Can you hit the 'update epg' button in your capture source settings, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log? (those in the zip didnt show an epg update)

I am a plonker!

I was trying to update the epg before scanning for channels. I often tell people that a definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. That's what I spent three hours doing in this case!
