Juddering playback of recorded TV shows

lundholmster,. hvr1600 is a digital based device? Are you using a mux or dvrms? If you get the same skipping if different program and different machines then you've got a recording issue rather than a playback issue.

I'm going to try to upgrade to the latest version and see if I can get this working.

HVR 1600 is a hybrid card. It was 1 ATSC tuner and 1 analog tuner.

Changed to TS Mux. Problem still persists.

Just a heads up - WinXP SP3 fixes this issue - apparently, they provided an updated quartz.dll (thank you MS!)
