Sub,

Unfortunately the celebration was a bit premature Sad. I "finally" got some time to play around with the system and configure it out, so I apologize for getting back on this so late.
It seems like, though GBPVR can now properly start the graph, it cannot properly send out a tune request to the card.
This is the log message I get:
Quote:2008-07-11 22:26:22.496 VERBOSE about to validate tuning request
2008-07-11 22:26:22.497 ERROR Failed to submit the Tune Request to the ATSC Network Provider

The only way I was able to get a picture was:
- first tuning to a channel with the Aver software, say channel 80
- then scanning in config with a modified qam.ini that had just channel 80 for testing
Following this scenario, config finds all the subchannels on 80: 80.1, 80.2 etc... and all seemed fine.

So I recently changed the qam.ini file to have all my other channels (86, 87 & 89 in my case). What happens during the scan now, is that config lists subchannels 86.1, 86.2 etc... but they are just still mapping back to 80.1, 80.2 from above.
So the tuning never occurs. Had I more closely inspected the log files prior, I would have seen this.

Sorry for being so wordy.
I've attached the log.
I appreciate the help as always,

I'm not really sure what to suggest, and no easy way for me to reproduce/test here. I suspect you're out of luck - sorry.

Try using frequencies instead of physical channels in your qam.ini

I got all of my channels set up and was able to record from the M780s in ASTC with the last patch. Now I am just in codec/renderer/mux hell trying to find a combination that will let me play back dvd's and watch tv at the same time.

SUB,
Are the fixes you put in for the M780 to work in 1.2.13 in this version? When I upgraded my M780s stopped working. I am back on 1.2.13 now but would like to go back to the new version again. If yuu need to see logs, it will be over a week before I can test again, but when I am able I will post them.

That change broke things for other user, so it was taken out. I knew it'd break things for some people, but I was out of time for taking any other course of action, and to get it working for the majority.

But Sub, he was broke anyway, it didn't work without the fix and it didn't work with the fix. At least with the fix ATSC recording works on the M780s. Please!!!!

I'm out the counrty for a few weeks, so probably wont be able to do anything in the near future, but post the logs so I can remind myself what the problem was.
