Anyone having these problems?

I just reinstalled PVR and set everything up and it's working...now...

When I go into the config to get rid of some of the plugins such as "system",
"pictures" ..etc so they don't show up on the menu .. I then save the config open up PVR again and they are still there. I open up the config again and there they are all checked again?
How does one fix that?

Also..
When I'm recording it doesn't show on the ICON as recording and when I open the status box is says "Sleeping"...but when I go back into PVR it says it's recording...
How does one fix that?

You can sometimes get this if you have firewall software getting in the way of communication between GBPVRTray.exe and GBPVRRecordingService.exe.

Or if you don't have the correct directory set...lol I didn't have a c:\temp dir..opps...made one solved 1/2 the problem...

NOW if the thing would only remember my settings....Still won't do that..

I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate..

Suggestions there?

Maybe try deleting your "c:\users\<your account\appdata\local\virtualstore\program files\devnz" directory.

If that doesnt work, search you hard drive for extra unexpected copies of config.xml. We've seen this a couple of times in the past.

I didn't have a c:\temp dir..

Would there be any mileage in getting config.exe to check for the recording and buffer directories and give a warning? Or default to the Windows Temp environment setting? This one seems to be a regular
