I was in over my head, but tried the boot into GBPVR setup anyway and it worked like a charm! Except one thing. The remote no longer works.

I have a Hauppauge 1600. If I kill the shell w/ my keyboard and restart PVRX2.exe the remote works fine. I need a more wife friendly solution. I've searched and only came up w/ this thread. I'm don't know what to do with it though. I don't know what to do with the .bat file once I create it.

Any ideas?

You can either put it in, or create a shortcut to your bat file and paste it C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME YOU USE FOR GBPVR\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

You may also want to look into wake.cmd with gbpvrwake.exe if you are using hibernate or standby with your system. Search the wiki for those. Also hibernate trigger or MCE Standby tool may work for you as well.

Thanks for the replys. .bat file did not correct the problem. Looking into gbpvrwake. I may get rid of the shell if I can't get this remote thing figured out.

If you want to do shell commands on standby and resume, MCE Standby Tool may be what you want, and it is made easy with the Add On here http://www.degroeneknop.nl/forum/index.p...302.0.html

And like Graham says, make sure you are calling the proper executable. GBPVR.exe does not exist anymore, PVRX2.exe is current. I assume you are using the right one since all is working right except you remote.
