hello
I have problem aspect ratio whit video 16:9 on 4:3 TV

In italy Mediaset transmit program in mixed 4:3 for spot and 16:9 for program film and telefilm.
On playback section of recording 16:9 rescaling in 4:3 format without mantaining the aspect ratio.
The video strech in up/down and compress in left-right

Try F7 to change the aspect ratio.

Ok...
It's possible change aspect ratio from hauppage wintv nova t-500 controller (45 bottons)? Or converting the recording from mixed mode ( letterbox + 4:3 ) in full letterbox automatically

Are you using the Remote.exe that comes from Hauppage?
If so, stop remote.exe, then edit C:\WINDOWS\IRREMOTE.ini
Find the [PVRX2] section (usually at the bottom), and map a key to F7
I use
RADIO={f7}
Save and restart Remote.exe.

I just learned we can change which aspect ratios are available. This is helpful for me also since I have to go between Pillar Box and Full Screen and I don't need Auto or Letterbox
