PVRX2 1.4.7 crashes

Sub,
I managed to install v1.4.7 and to get it to work, however every now and then it crashes. I took a look at the logs (attached) and the only error I found is:

Error code : 80004005
E_FAIL
An undetermined error occurred

any idea of what is going wrong?

by running a debugger upon the crash error, the error message is:
unhandled exception in gbpvr2.exe (ntdll.dll) OXC000005 ACCESS VIOLATION.
