Is it possible to have the PVR wake up to any remote control input not just the power toggle command?

It would be much easier if I could just push the up arrow or something and have it wake up, similar to how it reacts to a keyboard.

Using a Microsoft USB IR receiver/blaster. Or is there a separate Power On or Power Off command?

Solved.

I used pBS's "MCE Remote without software"" registry file to remap the power button to Ctrl-Alt-P. So this wakes the PVR up from a standby but won't put it into standby if it is already awake.

oh, i thought you meant the stb power..not the computer's...Smile
who needs 'instant off' anyways? with so few buttons, seems like wasted on suspend..

glad you got it down now...yea, those buttons are a pain, in win7 they still startup mce and they made it even harder to disable...but my trick still works for suspend...Wink
even with my trick, green button still starts up mce...so it has to be disabled or uninstalled..

M$ is such a bully...Tongue

oh and i do believe there is a discrete power off and power on command...
[tho rteally power on is hardware reliant so can't be changed...only that button wakes it up,mce remote only]
