Cannot get HDHomerun Prime Live Tv to nmt through npvr

Hello,

I recently upgraded my signal from directv to comcast. Purchased two HDHomerun Primes, got two cable cards and set them up in npvr. Live TV and recording works great on the machine doing the recording but I cannot get HDHomerun Prime Live Tv to my egreat m34a nmt through npvr. It just does a black screen, no audio either. Any tricks to get these to work? If not, anyone wanna buy two egreat m34a boxes?

Martin, you're a miracle worker! I must have rebooted the nmt five times thinking it was the usual no video after playing something. It would play any recording, new ones with the hdhomerun, old ones with directv and my collosus. Tried it again just now and it's working like a charm. Woot! Don't have to buy cheap laptops now. Thanks for your time.

Ok, now I think I found a pattern. It looks like if I hit a channel I'm not supposed to view (like the copy once Showtime) or even one I'm not subscribed to I have to power cycle the nmt. Gotta go through those channels then.

I was thinking it could be related to encrypted files. It difficult to exit a bad mpeg file but hitting the live tv or changing channels in live tv might help
