the recording failed because I was out of disk space. I's always the simple answers that I miss.
Also, will NPVR delete the "live" video files in the temp folder itself or do I need to delete them?
As far as the service you may be correct. I'll reboot the computer and see how it works out.

Ok, that'll probably be your live tv issue too then.

Yes. If it cant delete when it no longer needs them, like they're in use, then it'll remember the files and try to delete them later.
