I bet this problem goes away when I migrate to Windows 10 and leave WMC in the dust bin. I loved WMC for a long time but it has grown long in the tooth and what I use now is far superior.....except for one thing. I really LOVE the ability to click on a channel in the guide and simple scroll through the guide for that channel until the EPG data runs out. I wish they would add this feature to NextPVR....it's the only reason I keep WMC, to simply look ahead and see what I want to record for the next 3 weeks. Plus NextPVR's guide doesnt contain the year of the movie which is insane to me.....especially since it puts the year in parenthesis in the file folder. The year the movie is made is important to me because i like older cinema and will pretty much try anything from the 50's through 80's.....after that movies began to suck more and more for me at least. I don't like CGG at all.
I tried the desktop client and it does not do what I want. I refuse to use multiple software packages. I have been in testing mode for the last few months and I use Emby for everything now except live TV and DVR because I have not bought premiere yet....but I will and at that point I will only use Emby. I realize I can use NextPVR with Emby but if their DVR software is as good and the guide let't me look at things as I like there won't be much reason.

Awesome, because I love the software except for a few things maybe that are only important to me.......maybe in the future could we get an option to view a single channels offerings like in WMC....I do like to do a quick scroll looking ahead at what is going to be on for the next few weeks on the channels I actually record from.

I decided to discontinue support for the Emby add-on but it seems like this thread can die down anyway since you are leaving NextPVR and no real problem exists.
I have been using NextPVR because it works with Emby in fact I only came across it while looking for a DVR solution that was compatible with Emby, I guess at the time Emby didn't have their own DVR but it seems now they do but if I prefer the way NextPVR functions I was planning on continuing to use it in Emby but if you are discontinuing support I guess that is not an option any more. I need Emby because I have a huge collection of movies and music that I want to stream to my TVs and NextPVR can't do that for me.

But Kodi probably can ... and Kodi is much used by other NextPVR users ... and there is also Jellyfin.
