I have installed the lame encoder.
When I select the station, the recording service starts to capture; however, there is no sound what so ever.
Is there something else I need to configure to listen?
Your help is greatly appreciated.

I've never tried the FM radio on it, so I'm not surprised. I'll look into it for the next release.

Did you install the lame encoder from http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho...dshow.zip? I just tried it on my ATI 550 Pro and it worked fine.

Try it again and email your logs over to support@devnz.com and I'll see if I can see anything obvious.

I found the problem. I checked the logs and realized I had deleted the temp recording directory i had setup. Changed it to an existing directory and problem solved. Sorry for all the fuss. :o

Wait, so how do you tell GB-PVR where to look for the encoder?

What do you mean?

When you register the LAME encoder, that is all that is required for GB-PVR to use it. You must use the LAME encode from http://www.elecard.com/ftp/pub/directsho..._dshow.zip
