Seeing as you already have a PVR350 why buy a 150 as well? Unless you want to record 2 shows at once that is...

ok, there is a little problem....how can you run two instances of gbpvr, the one with pvr350 output, the other with software decoder? that's a problem, since the tv-out of the pvr350 is much better, than a normal graphics card tv-out. you could attach the pvr350-output and the graphics card tv-out to your tv set. then place a custom task to a dvdplayer (windvd, powerdvd....). so when you want to watch dvd, you'll have to execute the custom task (simple button press) and switch the tv set to the other input....

I dont think anyone is suggesting running two instances of GB-PVR. Just dont use the PVR350's tv out at all. Use software decoding, and either a PVR350 or PVR150 for recording, or both if your want to record two things at once.

Hi, i just thought using a PVR150 instead of the PVR350 because it's cheaper (i bought a used PVR350). I then will sell the PVR350. I'm also thinking of buying a PVR500 instead of the PVR350. Then i can watch and record different programs, or? Greets, Spiff |
