Hey everyone,

So I got my wireless network all setup and stuff and the mediamvp is seeing it but it tends to hang when it gets to the "Loading Application" Screen. I find that the only way I can power through this screen to get to GBPVR is to jumpstart it by connecting it to a wired network.

Any ideas how I might be able to get around this? As you might image connecting a 50 foot cord doesn't go over to well with the misses.

Ok that's wierd... I started up the Hauppauge Services and rebooted the mediamvp and then the hauppauge software loaded. So then I shutdown the hauppage services and started up gbpvr and presto!

Here's where it gets wierd though. The skin that shows up on my tv is the blue skin. The skin I have selected in the GBPVR config is BlueMCE2. Oh yah and BlueMCE2 is what appears on my computer.

Any ideas how to get the skins to line up?

Dubya

p.s. Sub any idea what's in the hauppauge services that's different from the GBPVR recording service which prevents GBPVR from loading wirelessly?

Sorry if this is stating the obvious... Are you using the latest version of GB-PVR? I saw in the release notes that you can specify the MVP skin seperately from the PC skin. I've not upgraded yet, so aren't sure where you set this, though I would assume it's the config app.
