Sorry, I dont have one of these devices, so I dont know for sure which drivers you need, but I'd have to guess they're on the Hauppauge site.

When you tried to create you capture source, you need to set the recording source to 'BDA Recording Plugin'. I suspect this not what you did.

great, thanks, this has worked, but i've now used birtles as a grabber, but i only seem to be able to get a few channels, not bbc1, etc.

Some people have problems scanning. I dont know why. I've looked many times but never got to the bottom of it.

again my fault, i re-read the wiki for birtles grabber, you have to press the button for channels, however, now i cannot get any tv picture at all, on win2000, yes, but not gb pvr.

codec missing perhaps?
