This will be pretty painful. GB-PVR would have no idea what channel you're on, so the EPG it shows would usually be the information for some other channel. Also it'd be nearly useless for scheduling recordings, unless you're going to be there to change channels everytime a recording is due to start.

Yes, but it'll be a bit crappy without an IR Blaster.

i understand what your saying now thanks...ir blasters...would they sort this out? how much are they retailing for?

I have two spare ones but don't know if they would work with the PVR-150. Mine are surplus from Nova-T's. If someone knows if they will plug into the PVR-150 then I could probably help.

I'll say it again though, for the same sort of money, you could get yourself a Nova-T and it will all just work from day one for digital terrestrial broadcasts, working EPG, functional scheduling etc.

Your entry experience will be so much better with this device.

I looked for the Nova-T but they are all much more than the 150 which im getting for £33 Sad Otherwise i would get it.

About the IR blaster, can someone shed light if the NovaT's work on the 150? Theoreticaly they should because they are hauppauge right?

Only yesterday I posted a link to savastore.co.uk for 33 quid and the Ebuyer price is the same. 33 quid ex Vat.

Sorry mate i already purchased the PVR150MCE Sad. Anyway i should have listened to you about the nova but it came to around £39 without p and p so Sad

Have you found any information about the IR blasters from the nova working with the pvr 150?
