Well that worked but the contents do not shed any light on it to me.

Yeah, unfortunately it doesnt mean anything to me either. I'm certain its not one of mine though. I'm guessing comskip.

Cant see any file like that from my comskip output.

Why dont you move the file somewhere and run Comskip and see if it re-creates a new version?

Other than that I was thinking it may have been an Xvid stats file - but I dont think they can contain negative numbers. (if you use transcode at all)

It really appears to be compskip although I do not know why others do not see it.

I seem to remember that there was a one version of comskip that produced a file with some additional debug info. It wasnt intended to be left in for the released version, and when it was pointed out, Erik promptly supplied another version of comskip which did not produce this. I wonder if you ended up with that specific version?

I will give upgrading comskip a try tommorrow. I never gave the file a second thought until I saw this thread. I am currently using version 0.79.38.

DrDDT are you using comskip and if you are what version?

I'm running 0.79.37. It seems the file is overwritten everytime comskip runs.
I just upgraded to 0.79.48 to see what happens.

Check your comskip.ini file. "Output_framearray=0" stops output of the excel csv file.

Ah. In the old version I was using, this setting was set to '1'.
Thanks!

Hmm I just got this 2.7GB file.

Funny thing is Output_framearray WAS set = 0. I'll need to talk to erik, I'm using the latest HD version of comskip.
