ok - I'll keep a lookout. Is there a thread I can subscribe to that'll email me when it's available?
unfortunately for me with the new dual-core I can't see a path to getting a stable recording going until the new release. I've tried various BDA driver and Mux versions, so unless there's something else to try I'll wait until the new release (where I can leverage the latest MUX drivers)
A mux can cause these sorts of problems, but if you've tried several muxes and all have had the problem, then its probably not the mux. The 5.0 and above Cyberlink muxes, and the Microsoft DVR-MS mux, have worked fine for most other users. I'm guessing that being able to use the PP MPEG Muxer isnt going to solve your problem.
I'm a bit busy at the moment, but hassle me again in a few days and we'll take another look through a fresh set of logs and see if we can see anything new.
any suggestions where i can get 5.0.0.1307 version of the cyberlink mux. I tried the link from another thread to the twinhan site but that's up to version 5.0.2022. I'm having problems with recordings losing sync after skipping forward or moving forward when trying to rewind on my mvp. Earlier versions (5.0.0.727 & 5.0.0.813) didn't give the sync problem but did result in many 0kb recordings.
Can we trade? Can you post the version you have (ie. 5.0.2022 + any later versions if you have them if possible).
Sub - Let us know if you're not cool with these being posting on the site so we (or you) can pull them. I remember months ago there was a concern with someone posting something...can't remember what it was now though.
Sorry, I cant let you post these on here (though it would make things easier). These are licensed components from commercial products, and I dont want to create legal problems for my website. I've deleted these muxes you had attached.
I've got no objections with you posting links to these on your own sites though, or links to them on other websites.
