Hi,

I had 98.8 then a few weeks ago I updated to 99.5 then a week later to the new version of 99.12, however for both of these versions I have not been able to get any Teletext to record.

I applied the patch a few posts above here back when I got it but I was wondering if it is interfering with the new version?

I still have the subtitle pages on the capture device (PVR150) for the appropriate channel. And also under Misc in the config.

However they are not working. They work fine with CTRL-Y, but are not saved to the HD.

Am i missing something from one of these new versions?

Thanks Matthew

You shouldnt apply old patches on to new versions. This will give unpredictable results.

wow..fast reply. Thanks. I have not applied the patch, I only did when you told me too that once - but it is still sitting in the DEVZ root directory. I was wondering if it was still active and causing a problem from way back when u sent it to me?

I was wondering if you or anyone else knows if there are problems with Subtitles? My last 2 upgraes have not worked with regards to subtitles but have been fine for everything else. Hence I thought the patch might be interferring with them.

Should I try a brand new delete *.* and start fresh?

To be honest, I dont know. Its been a long time since I tried it myself, and its not a feature used by very many people so there havnt been many comments.

ok. thanks sub. I will delete everything and try with a fresh install. Is there anything I should do besides deleting the files before starting again? Any registry cleaning?

i dont mind rebuilding it all. I will write down all the channels and all the things I have to record etc etc, plugins... etc.

It will take 1 hour but I think it might take all night to solve it another way.

I live in a country where I am learning the language so subtitles help alot and I use them on 90% of my recordings Smile

I will report back. But i will do it tomorrow incase you have any tips on deleting.

Nothing springs to mind. I'm a bit too busy to test it at the moment, but I'll add it to my todo list.

I understand you are busy. I will do the testing of a fresh install and let you know. Who knows that patch and a few upgrades might have got screwed up. Thanks for your super fast replies. Relpying to me stops you doing more important things Big Grin

Sub.. just did an unistall using your .msi and delete *.* then did a reinstall and cant get the subtitles to work when recording. Can see them on the screen ok. I will start a new thread and see what other people say.

Thanks.
