The driver I tried that fixed my sound problem is
2.0.43.24103 dated 4/13/2006
One little note, after I updated my drivers I had a very strange occurrence with my network settings. A new network setting was created that started causing my IP to change at random. I canât remember what the new setting was called but it was directly related to adding a "new" capture device. A little research found a MS article about the strange behavior. The article said the behavior was "by design". A reboot was all that was required to clear the "fake" network connection.
