Just for grins I would try running the EWA via IIS and see if the same problem occurs......If you don't know how to setup a web in IIS let me know ......I can walk you through the steps....it is easy.

No need to shut of the integrated service....they will not collide....I have the same site hosted by the integrated server as well as IIS on my development machine. You will just access it at:

I belive this simple process can be followed....

Using explorer navigate to the gbpvr\web folder.
Right click on the web folder.
Left click properties.
Select the Web Sharing Tab.
Select Share this folder.
Give it a name (i.e) gbweb
Click apply.
Click Ok.
Close the properties window.

You should now be able to go to http://localhost/NameYouGaveItAbove/guide.aspx

Let me know how you make out.

Hi UJB I did as you described above. I get a loginbox, I try to log in with my EWA name-pw, then a very quick screenflicker. That's all. It's all through the lan. 192.168.1.11/gbpvrweb/guide.aspx
Any ideas?

Guess what....... since I installed IIS EWA seems to have stopped locking up rec-service. I'm not using IIS as a server for EWASmile . I just remember that I also updated EWA to 49. Well let's hope it stays this way, if it does there will ofcourse come a moment to uninstall IIS (I won't be able to resist the challengeSmile ). For the time being I will continue the testing and see what happens. Big Grin

Anything in the logs?

IIS Logs can be found here:
Code:

which? HtV IIS or my original query? The latter is not going well. Changing to a user from Local System did not fix it, but I don't think it is EWA related.
