Yes.

It just tells GB-PVR open and close the USB-UIRT each time it needs the IR Blaster rather than opening it at first use and holding on to it.

Of course not - it only relates to a problem with the USB-UIRT, which is what we've been discussing in this thread.

stefan Wrote:I did some more testing now. It seems weird. When I changed to hauppauge remote, gbpvr.exe didn't start up at 99%, but when I start watching live tv it does go up to 99% again. Nothing obvious in the logs this time either. I'll try a reboot...

I haven't tried switching to the haup remote, but what you describe above is what mine has been doing too. I notice it when I try to watch Live TV or a recording and the video is a slide show... or see that the hdd light isn't blinking so i know it's not recording a show when it should be. Restarting the recordingservice fixes it.

Sub, should GBPVR ignore inputs from the USB-UIRT if I have it setup to only transmit, not receive commands? I'm using an MCE reciever for Rx. Reason I ask is because quite a while back you were trying to help me and another person with the USB-UIRT being used for both Rx and Tx, but I wasn't sure if that had been finally fixed or not (seeing Stefan's sig reminded me)... we just resorted to other methods for Rx'ing because the UIRT would cause GBPVR quit responding to any inputs till it was restarted. Wondering if maybe the this issue might be related.

Anytime I loan gbpvr it goes to 99 or even 100%, I can't load the config to change the remote, because it never shows up. It worked fine yesterday, but now it doesn't work at all, and I can't even get to watch live tv anymore. Got any suggestions? I added the code that you mentioned and it didn't fix it. Have any others?

Can you zip and attach your logs from when you start gbpvr?

Are you using a USB-UIRT?

To my knowledge I am not, but then again I'm still new to this. I can't get the config file to load, and when I do load gbpvr it takes 5 minutes to even be in the loading plugins phase...so I usually give up. Can anyone give me info on how to get the config file working again and to get gbpvr fixed?

Thanks
Benjamin

have you tried deleting all the files from your c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\plugin directory? If not, then I'd suggest you do that as a first step.

If that doesnt work, then reproduce the problem, and zip and attach a set of logs and I'll take a look.
