Well that just taught me a lesson. I have all sorts of mechanisms for backing up my GB-PVR DB, config.xml, logs etc. but not one for keeping recent copys of my XMLTV file. Sad

Anyone in the London & South East area have a recent copy of their XMLTV file they'd be willing to ZIP and attach (or e-mail me) -please? Pretty please??? Smile

Cheers,
Brian

Luckily i did a backup last night, so i have a fortnights worth of listings!

Its only the 15 or so decent freeview channels... if you like to record the news or shopping channels you are out of luck. Big Grin

You are a Gentleman and a Scholar.

It looks to be pretty much the same set of channels I download. I'll need to tweak the 'channel id' elements but that'll only take 5 minutes of 'Find/Replace'. Many thanks.

Has anyone a suggestion for a command line (as in batch or cmd) email program that can send attachments. I have in mind emailing my exports xml file along with the xmltv file to gmail. I'd flag them as spam on gmail so they get deleted after 30 days.

Wishlist - some verification of EPG data files for the gbpvr update - especially when the 'empty epg' option is set. Maybe don't empty if the data file is less than xxx kb.

Thanks for the thought anyway - very kind.

http://www.radiotimes.com is still down as I type this. You'd kinda think they'd have employed professionals to do whatever it is they're doing to their system. Rolleyes

I hear thoughts of a possibility of them charging for their data.

So if they did start charging, there is no reason to not shift over to the DVB EPG? It might take a bit of tweaking to get it working smoothly with ITV and a couple of other problem channels, but at least you have the option.
