I think rscheller had it right.

Your file that works is only tabs between columns.

The file that doesn't has 3 spaces on the first line and a tab on the second.
It's probably throwing off the parser in GBPVR.
Select the spaces in notepad and replace with a tab and see if that works.

The file you say "works perfectly" has a single tab between the frame numbers.

The file you say "doesn't jump" has three spaces.

Pastro, I didn't even try the second line of his file that doesn't work. Rolleyes

ercuem, I think your solution is use either a single space or a single tab. I'd use the tab though since that's what comskip puts in there.

Yeah i can't find word`s to thank you.

this is so nice and make's me so lucky, never cutting again, I`d spend so much time with cutting in the past.

The only problem is that videoredo dosn't expect's the tab button in his Options.

I need to write %N (tab) %N

When I`m writing %N and press the tab button videredo jumps to the next option.
I`Ve written in notepad %N(tab)%N copied and past with no success.

Any Idear

I'm sorry to say I'm having trouble understanding your problem.
Are you using comskip to generate the commercial skip file, and then using videoredo to cut the commercials out?
From your post it sounded like you were using videoredo to generate the skip file and I didn't think it did that.
What exactly are you trying to do?

I'll try to make sure it supports the space separator for the next release instead of requiring tabs.

normaly comskip is searching my recordings for commercials and writing the results to auto-skip text file for GB-PVR.

GB-PVR looks for this file and jumps forward if there was a commercials detected in the auto-skip text file.

Erik the great developer of comskip makes his Job very good, but to find out every commercial and upcoming trailers is very difficult so the result of comskip
isn't always perfect..

Videoredo can give a Chapter file as output text file, this Output text file is in the same format which gbpvr understands.

So I can very easyly mark the end of the commercials and let gbpvr jump very perfectly forward in a few seconds.

There is just one problem in the Option dialog of Videoredo, I need to write %N "for framenumber" (Tab) %N

but when I'm writing %N(pushing the tab button on Keyboard, Videredo jumbs to the next option dialog.

Hope is understandable, sorry

I've never used Videoredo but if I understand you right, Videoredo puts a single space between the frame numbers but GBPVR expects to see a tab character there. sub siad he'd fix this for the next release but in the interum...

It's not too difficult to open the Videoredo chapter file (with the spaces) with Notepad and highlight the area to change, specifically all the lines with frame numbers and simply do a "replace" and replace the spaces with tabs then save the file.

That's usually ctrl i but that will just make videoredo act the same way.

This can be done in cygwin using sed (unexpand doesn't seem to work right) but if you don't use cygwin already this is probably beyond where you want to go.

I think the best bet is to do it manually for now in notepad and once sub releases the new version he said he would try to make it accept tabs or spaces in the parser. Once that is out, your files should work fine.
