Guide, mini guide, and recordigs tanks mvp

On the bright side the other dongle does not tank when I go to the guides with gbpvr.exe, but it does take almost 3 minutes to bring it up while the volumes are being searched.

NVM... I found the answer

I am now using the other dongle and it works... mostly.

pvrx2.exe searches the volumes when loading the recording list, when going into the tv-guide, when going into search guide, and the mini guide.

I forgot to mention that gbpvr.exe searches the volumes when going to search guide from the main menu too.

It seems possible... I am noticing A LOT MORE disc activity with it. Not even when getting the list of recordings, but also when you go into a group of recordings... Have no idea why the a: drive would be affected though.

matthrolf, can you try the attached patch and let me know if it helps? It wont be perfect, but hopefully much faster than before.

I suspect life would be easier for you if you had a lot less than 1700 recordings.

It’s working much better. Only one place left where it is checking the files. When the grouped recording list is brought up and then selecting a group it scans for those files – it takes much less time because it is limited to a few hundred



Hey… If I didn’t have almost 2000 recordings how would you know how robust your program is!!!! =P
