Well, I'm sure it didn't in my system. I know because I have to change the settings everytime after installing a new version. They aren't "remembered" through updating.
Edit: Actually you reminded me that I still had to do that. :-)

I know what you mean, but I'm quite sure it did function like it should in 99.12.
Sorry, its always been that way. Medium is used as a default for a "quick rec", and everywhere else you can specify what recording quality to use.

They definitely can be translated using the language.xml file.

I only speak english though, so I dont update the files myself, so I'm dependent on others to provide the translations.

Then I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.
Can you check this language.xml for me?

My mistake, setting the default recording quality (as shown below) in config.xml was a setting in the plugin "TV Listings", not in "TV Guide":

<TVListings>
<DefaultQuality>High</DefaultQuality>
<AmazonLocale>US</AmazonLocale>
<IconDictionary>False</IconDictionary>
<ResourceDirectory>False</ResourceDirectory>
<ResourceDirectoryPath>C:\Program files\devnz\gbpvr\Media\art</ResourceDirectoryPath>
<OnlyFavourites>False</OnlyFavourites>
<GenreColours>False</GenreColours>
<PastDays>1</PastDays>
</TVListings>

Using this plugin, it was possible.

Sub, it seems that with gbpvr.exe (1.08) they (text at the bottom in main menu) are translated, but not with pvrx2.exe, to be exact: without changing the language.xml.

By the way, there are minor differences like the use of ":" in gbpvr.exe en pvrx2.exe, so the language files have to be updated.

A few other problems:

1.
I have configured that before deleting a recording, I get a question for confirmation.
That does work in gbpvr.exe (1.08), but it doesn't in pvrx2.exe.

Here is a fragment of my config.exe:
<ConfirmDeleteInRecordings>true</ConfirmDeleteInRecordings>
<ConfirmDeleteInVideoLibrary>true</ConfirmDeleteInVideoLibrary>

2.
When I schedule a season recording (weekly same time, same channel) through the tv guide, then in "recordings, scheduled", starttime and endtime are correct, but in "recordings, recurring", starttime is 90 minutes early and endtime is 40 minutes late.
When I schedule the same manually in "recordings, manual recording" there is no indication of day, starttime or endtime.

3.
I programmed a recording through the tv guide in gbpvr ON MY PC. After the program had ended, I went to the menu "recordings", then to submenu "what's new", but then the menu "recordings" exited all by itself. Entering the menu again is not possible anymore until I deleted the recording through gbpvr.exe (1.08).

1 other problem:

I manually programmed a recording through "recordings, manually recording". When I checked in "recordingd, scheduled", I noticed I hadn't set the right channel. So I chose "update" to alter the channel.
After changing the channel, the change was not visible in "recordings, scheduled".

There is tons of differences when it comes to translation string, much more than just the use of colons.

I've effectively rewritten the whole user interface. When it comes to translations - some of the stuff is the same, but most of it is different.

This feature was not available in the initial release of the new user interface, but a patch was provided for it. I'm fairly sure it's listed in the 1.0.8 survival guide thread, but if not, then there is definitely another thread with a patch that gives this functionality.

This is normal and has always been the case. What you're seeing is the timeslot. The default timeslot is 90 minutes, meaning it'll look for shows with the same title as the season recordings and a start time with in +/-90 minutes of the original recording start time. This is done to ensure shows are still scheduled for recording when there are slight variances to the time they air from week to week. For example, the show starting an hour late one week because of a special event being broadcast before it.

Can you post the logs showing this error?
