Add channel logos to guide

Currently, even using the GUI, you'd need to manually edit the config.ini just as mvallevand described...

I will be adding a dropdown for choosing the callsign style in the next version of the GUI. I'm also waiting for whurlston to add NewShow Markers

That said, I'll probably add an additional header type for those that want the icon + number + name.

Any way you can add a icon + number option while you're at it? The name seems awfully redundant once the icon is there.

I'm really hoping for logo + number + name in the next release. That will elevate the WAF to an all-time high!

Was just playing about with this last night as I've got both logos and channel names showing. I have TVGuideChannelHeaderType set to 3 (default I think) and have logos for all the channels in my EPG but its still showing both whereas I'd obviously prefer to just show the logos.

My understanding was that this setting should remove the chan names if you have logos for the majority of channels?

'3' was supposed to show the 'logo + name' if most icons were present, or 'number + name' if they werent.

Here you are. Afraid I can't show the whole epg but as mentioned every channel has a logo but I'm still seeing the names as well.

Thats doing exactly what is supposed to happen. As I said above, '3' was supposed to show the 'logo + name' if most icons were present. You are getting the logo + name. ie, the channel number was replaced with the channel logo.

Oh, isn't there an option to remove the channel name? I don't need it if I have the logo and it lets me see much more of the EPG!

No, not by default. You can of course make a skin that doesnt show the name though. Some others have posted a replacement skin file to do this in the past.

How do I add the channel logos to the guide in the newest version of gbpvr? I thought I saw a post awhile back with this information, but I'm unable to find it. I would like to only display the logo and the channel number. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

Of course you could use my tool Channel Logo Tool which is designed to obtain channel icons from the internet and match them to channel names and publish them into GBPVR.
