Problem with MusicLibrary2 v6.5

PROBLEM....?

Just installed v6.5, GBPVR v1.0.16 on client (client server setup).

All basic installs, getting this error in the server log

Ideas?

No that shouldn't cause a problem. Basically it complaining the system.data.sqllite.dll is NOT a plugin. It's only there as I had to have it loaded in the plugin directory....it's not needed there, and the newer beta versions I've removed it from the package.

If you've got troubles loading hte plugin, there may be something else after this error causing a problem.

ML2Panel is a different plugin, if you're getting errors in ML2, then remove the panel and we'll concentrate one that.

The panel is a bit old, and has not been redeveloped for PVRX2.

Yes, but I'd recommend moving the ML2panel out of the plugins directory while we try to diagnose your Music library problems. It just makes all the logging a bit confusing.

The original intent of the ML2Panel was a panel that showed up on the main screen of gbpvr and as a screen saver. Panels have not been implemented into PVRX2, and because of that I haven't overly concerned myself with the workings of the panel and screen saver.

EDIT, see you posted the logs...

So now that we have figured out that you have a MusicLibrary2 problem as well (the 5 seconds/back to main menu thing) then I'd like you to ensure that you have debug logging turned on (in the config app) and log flushing turned on, then start pvrx2 again, start ml2 and when it exits, post those log files

I'm wondering if the screen saver is being called (the return to main menu bit) and the "dark" screen is that you've got no music loaded. In the config app run a scan on your collection, and see if that populates the boxes.....I think I remember HtV has a similar problem with it not displaying anything when the collection was empty....but I thought that generated a decent error (an album art type one).

I also think this might have been something fixed in the latest beta....but don't load that yet.

Run ML2
It reverts back to the main menu when i move the mouse over the screen after it runs (if left long enough the menu just vanishes but remains on the main screen).

Changed the log method so its not seperate, which one would you like, i have a pvrx2.exe.log and a pvrx2.exe-native.log

How do i run a scan, ive read what i can in wiki there isnt much info on the boxes in the config settings screen.

When i run the plugin itself i dont get anything in PVRX2 (the menu options dimm or vanish but the background stays identical), where do i set it to look at for files? i would hope the update is automatic, i dont want to have to run a command everytime i add files...

UPDATE..

Looked in detail at the config page, i have completed a scan WITH a directory installed, the menu now appears.

However there is a good question, how on earth do i stop playing a file?

ctrl-s should be the same as the regular music plugin.
