Quote:For live TV, I need to use the second from the left on bottom of the 45 key Hauppauge remote (little green button - ctrl-g??) - No progress bar, only information is shown, which is fine for me.
If you're watching live preview mode, then its not going to give you a progress bar. You only get a progress bar watching a recording or in timeshift mode live tv.

sub, did you see anything in my logs? The green button (CTRL-G) doesn't do anything for me either...

Sorry, nothing stands out in the logs. When you move the mouse of the window while playing back a recording, do you see the OSD info?

I'm just guessing here but it seems like the problem is isolated to Live TV mode. When I press the blue or green button, I don't the OSD or info panel, but when I'm watching a video, it works just fine. However, OSD comes up just fine when I move the mouse around. I've also tried the actual keyboard commands that they correspond to and that's just as useless. I don't have access to my logs right now, but I can post them tomorrow if you'd like to take a look. It's not a huge deal since I've got my full TV guide back, but it is slightly irksome...

Just a follow up for sub...

I have the same symptoms as dormido, but using 1.0.16. So I don't get the OSD with CTRL-B or CTRL-G in LiveTV. But I do get it by moving the mouse. CTRL-B and CTRL-G work fine with Recordings.

Ah thank goodness I am not the only one. Using 1.1.15, I am also unable to bring up the OSD to show the OSD program description in LiveTVPreview using a hauppauge button nor by typing the associated keystroke manually on the keyboard. It works fine in every other instance where CTRL-B will bring up the same information, such as the timeshift player or when viewing a recording.

I looked into my own logs and see that PVRX2 actually reports adding the ^B keystroke as well when launching the player.

It looks like you've got a set of logs already, but if you need a 2nd let me know.

Having just upgraded the production system to 1.1.5, I can report similar problems to dormido and weisguy .... No OSD in LiveTV pressing green button or ctrl-g. No problems getting OSD in Timeshifting or recording mode, or when moving the mouse in LiveTV.

I can post more logs tonight if necessary

no osd on livetv only here either...
seems like it's just ignoring the keystroke altogether..keyboard/remote no show...
like something's blocking that keystroke in particular...works fine everywhere else..

have been checking everything..key mappings don't seem to do anything either...when i map them, not a single one changes any commands..[i normally swap home and ctrl-b, even then, home brings up inset instead of osd or nothing as it should if mappings working]
using 1.1.5

also, none of the color keys seem to work...
i'm using post 32775 codes if that makes any difference..
