It looks like its failing to find any mux filter.
Are you running XP SP1 or higher, or some other version of Windows?

You'll need to install either the ATI or Cyberlink mux filter. You can find links to them here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=25630.
I cant be 100% sure that its the cause of your problem, but it looks the most likely cause in yout logs.

Cheers Sub, much appreciated
I ran the BDA mux checker and it says "NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE" Thanks for the link, the ATI had links to an ax file and a DLL, the Cyberlink has ax files. I have done a search but cannot see how i install them. Do i simply copy the ax files to the GBPVR folder (there are ax files in there already, or the winnt/system32 folder ? Or neither ? :o

Copy them into your system32 directory then run:
regsvr32 c:\winnt\system32\<filename>.ax

ok the ax file didnt do anything
i ran the command with the dll and the BDA mux checker now reads:- Quote:GB-PVR has detected the following multiplex filters on your machine: I have restarted the pc and the system just seems to loop from the menu back to the menu. In the config i tried updating the EPG and the system stated that it did not have a BDA devive connected. Strange. I have removed the source and am in the process of rescanning channels (it has already detected some). Am i doing the right things so far ? I'll report back as soon as channels are saved and i have resaved epg import.

Hit the 'Update EPG' button again and repost the logs.
