Vista sucks, but that's for another thread...
Here's a link to how to enable the "real" Administrator account in Vista: http://www.news.com/8301-10784_3-9870793-7.html Once I did that, I was able to install 1.2.9 on my kids Vista PC.

Funny, I had no problem whatsoever installing GBPVR under Vista (as a client).
