Hard acceleration not working in GBPVR, but does outside of it

Ok, I think I know what's going on now. I found the correct vmr9 renderer and applied it into graphedit and now I'm seeing the same thing as in GBPVR. However, when I started messing with the deinterlacer settings within VMR9 filter, that's when I got it to work again. There's like 3 or 4 settings from the drop down menu on deinterlace in VMR9. There's 3 number based ones {49EA940....} and there's on that just says BOB. BOB was the only one that actually worked. So now my question is, what is BOB and how do I make sure GBPVR picks it instead of the others??

Yeah, I knew the basics, but I can't get it to work unless it gets specified in the filter which I don't know how to do. I tried doing it in catalyst center but it doesn't do anything.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can specify it in the Cyberlink decoder settings.

There is a small issue with changing the Cyberlink video decoder settings. The video decoder saves the setting per executable so if you change them in Config.exe, the same settings do not apply to PVRx2.exe or GBPVR.exe

Once you have changed them in the config, open regedit and browse to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\CLVSD\config

Export the key and open it in notepad.
Change the key name to

Code:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\CLVSD\pvrx2

or

Code:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\CLVSD\gbpvr

depending on which one you are using.
Save and import the new reg settings.

whurlston you might know i have no idea
but the cyberlink audio decoder wont let change the speakers from 2 speakers to 6 speakers or any other setting how would i go about this in the registry
any ideas?

The audio decoder is the same as the above but instead of the key being "CLVsd" it is "CLAud"

You will need to copy the config key to pvrx2 as outlined above then the setting you want is

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyberlink\Common\CLAud\pvrx2\AuDsInterface

For 6 channel, the value should be "20" in hexadecimal.

Note: the key/value is for PDVD8 decoders. I'll double check to make sure that it is the same for previous versions. Also, if 6 speaker isn't showing up in the audio properties, the version you have is not enabled for 6 speaker and the reg setting will be ignored.
