mine has 2 boxes when i open a mp3 file
should be the first "box xxxxx.mp3 output" going straight to the "input pin of your directsound device"
thats it
you need to remove or lower the merit of the "arcsoft audio effect " i would say is getting in the way
use Gspot it will let you do this it will also list what audio mpeg decoders you have

you may still need to install a audio decoder

And if you hit the play button in graphedit, do you get sound?

Also, try playing the same file in pvxr2.exe, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

I tried to play the file in the graphedit program and it didn't play, I also tried to play it in GB-PVR and it didn't play again so i have attached the logs you requested

If it doesnt play in GraphEdit, then it wont play in GB-PVR either, and is a pretty good sign that there is something wrong with the default directshow components on your machine. In the logs it looks like the Arcsoft audio decoders may be causing the problem. You may need to uninstall them to correct the issue.
