Sorry, I thought you had two 150s

Anyway, does the 1600 analog record properly when it's the sole capture source?

Right one 150 and one 1600; only one is recording and I am not sure which. I started with the 150 and felt so good about the output I wanted more. I thought I would get two recordings from the 1600 and could create a vacant PCI slot to put it in.

For my last test, both shows set directories, but, the mpeg was 0 for one. Apparently, I did not turn off comskip because that ran. In the 0 mpeg directory was a comskip file that had the config info and a text file that was also 0.

I've attached the logs for this exercise.

To get comksip out of the picture, make sure the config shows 'do nothing' for post processing, AND you have no reference to comskip in either PostProcessing.bat or ParallelProcessing.bat

Thanks! I had checked off in config but didn't know about the postprocessing.bat. I remed that out. I don't have a parallel processing bat, yet. One step at a time.

I don't know if this is related to showing two tuners installed or, if its a problem with my EPG.
As I page down in the EPG I get a lot of channels with "no program data" shown. As I continue down, the channel list repeats with the program data.
Is that a problem with the EPG or is that what should happen with two tuners? Would more tuners mean that the channels would be listed again? For multiple tuners should I select one program from one list and another program from the second list for the same time slot?
Also, are the tuners "assigned" by GBPVR when the selection is made from the guide. I ask because when I couldn't get two tuners working by last night, I canceled a recording so I would only get one. I ended up with nothing for that hour. I was wondering if I canceled the show that was scheduled to be recorded by the tuner that worked.

This is usually caused by a user changing EPG sources and the new channel names are not exactly the same same (for example, "2 WCBS" vs "WCBS" or some similar difference), so the app treats them as new channels. The easiest fix it to delete your database (gbpvr.db3), then start the config app and recreate your capture sources.

I'd try this again after fixing up your EPG as mentioned above. I'm pretty sure the problem will go away by itself.

Do you think this might be related to my problem of not being able to record two shows at the same time?

Yep, quite possibly. Clean up your EPG then see if it lets you record two shows at the same time. If it doesnt, post the logs and I'll check it out.

It certainly looks better now. I will test it in 7 minutes with 2 scheduled shows.

Both stations recorded. Both were run thru comskip. The file sizes for both look reasonable. One has the green time line with the dark green comskip marks that looks reasonable and shows 33.46 minutes. The other shows a time line that is half dark green and half light green and shows only 3+ minutes. The comskip logs each show over 60,000 frames processed. One with almost 7 minutes of commercials and the other with 9 1/2 minutes.
I'll have to look at each to see how they turned out.
