You've configured your capture source to use an IR Blaster, which you dont need to do. This is adding time to the act of changing channels.

I cant even change channels with the remote yet, another problem i need to get fixed. I can only change channels with the keyboard.

The Channel Changer setting in the capture source is not about a remote control. Its used for controlling a set top box with an IR Blaster. ie, when you're using an analog capture source to capture video from a cable or satellite set top box.

Since you're using a digital card, you should have the channel changer set to 'none'. You've incorrectly got it set to use the "MCE2005 IR Blaster" option.

Thank you so much sub. It fixed the time delay between channel changes as well as the issue I was having with hip not being able to change channels with the remote.
