Reproduce the problem, then post the logs and I'll take a look.

sub,

which log files do you want to see... I can zip all the latest ones... Also, I went back to the beta drivers b/c the previous driver was crashing arcsoft software.

thanks.

i got hdpr to work in gbpvr.. but now my issue is with blaster config...

both blaster config and IR Blaster is stating No IRblaster HW fond? When I run haupblast 123, I get the message "m_IRBlasterPort == 0; hcwirblast.dll disabled"

Are you able to run the Hauppauge BlastCFG to configure the blaster?

i run blastcfg.. and sometimes it says no hardware found. after i power cycle the hdpvr, it finds it.
i am still finding the correct code for the cable box.

my setup is a bit time consuming to troubleshoot b/c my cable box is inside a closet, my hdpvr is facing one side of the room and the projector is on the other side of the call.

I'm going to go throught he codes but i get the feeling that everytime i send a wrong code, I need to powercycle the HDPVR.

GB-PVR's HaupBlast.exe is effectively calling blastcfg. If blastcfg is having problems with finding the hardware, this implies GB-PVR is effectively going to have the same problem. Sorry, I'm not a HDPVR expert though, so cant really advise what you'd need to do to fix the problem.

sub,

i have irconfig working - i needed to reboot hdpvr.. for some reason, I need to do this each time i reboot my machine.

initially, i was able to play live tv for some time. .now, after a few seconds, i lose the audio and the video staggers.

the output of my cable box is forced-set to 720p, and my machine is pretty powerful.

any ideas.. i've attached the logs.

thanks in advance.

I cant see any obvious cause in the log, but the description makes me think its probably related to the combination of decoders you're using.

one more issue i'm noticing - and how do i fix this?

Let say my cable box is set to channel 2, and when watch live tv, channel 2 comes on. So far so good - expect for it to stagger after a few seconds as indicated above.

So now i go into TV guide... and i pick channel 4.
It goes back into live TV still as channel 2.
I see it change to 4 (the info box in the bottom comes from the cable box) and after it changes to channel 4, GBPVR closes live tv and goes back to the TV guide. it looks like the "blanking" of the screen and/or the sudden screen change is cauing gbpvr to exist live TV mode.

has anyone seen this before?

thanks
