Remove Letterbox without VMR9?

You can setup PVRX2 to do the zoom for you using the F7 key. You can specify the exact size you need and program that value into the configuration.

No you can't, that's the point of my question. Zooming requires negative values in the aspect ratio configuration, and that only works with VMR9.

Hey pBS, I just tried ffdshow tryouts, like you suggested here, and it seems to work! It doesn't seem quite as flawless as Media Center or VLC, but it is smooth.

But... now playback in Media Player is choppy! Grrr.

Yeah, you're right. I forgot that it can't use negative values in EVR.

On a side note. I use ffdshow tryouts as well and it works great, even in media center.
