Delete mvpmcx2m.7z and try the update again. It is possible you copied the mvpmc folder and got new file dates.

Ok, I deleted mvpmcx2m.7z. Ran the update again. I checked details and it downloaded the new version. Unfortunately, no change in my results.
Each time I run NMTInstall I follow it with a PC reboot, just in case. I have not rebooted the PCH because I've had some difficulties after reboots before. If you think it would help, I'll reboot the PCH. I have turned off the firewall just to eliminate that possibility.

I didn't expect the new mvpmcx2 to fix this anyway just fixig things that can cause other problems Could you try and play a different file and send those logs.

Here's the log from playing a different file.

I don't see anything indicating that the files is being streamed by the web server. Could you try the test on this thread http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=45396&page=2 to confirm the web server os working.

I get the same screen the poster in that thread did with http://localhost:7647/
For http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/ I get a specific error that might be helpful. I've attached a screen shot. I had already read that thread before posting my problem, and had checked for interact with desktop. It is checked. I also stopped the recording service in Control Panel>Services. Then unchecked, restarted service, stopped it again, and then rechecked interact with desktop. GB-PVR config has the boxed checked next to "Enabled GB_PVR web server on port: 7647" in the Misc2 tab. I did this stuff before my original post. I just checked these setting again, and interact with desktop is checked, and web server is enabled on port 7647. I don't know if Windows firewall is allowing traffic on 7647, and I can't find where to look, but anyway I have the firewall turned off for now. If you think it will help, I can stop, uncheck, start etc. in order to check interact with desktop now that we have made some other changes.

I would expect that error if you don't have EWA installed. Your configuration looked ok in the logs too, but I wanted this confirmed. I don't know what else to suggest. If you have another PC on your network you might try (with the IP of your GBPVR server)
Code: http://IP:7647/stream?f=C:\Temp\At the Movies\At the Movies_20100110_18301900.ts To confirm that videos are streamed. Martin

As a followup I did some testing and could you check to see if you have the following files in GBPVR\web\bin
System.Web.Extensions.dll System.Web.Extensions.Design.dll Without them I can only stream for about 5 seconds Martin Martin

Esteban, did you see my last post? I realised in the other thread requesting that all the files in web\bin get deleted as a test, I found out that GBPVR doesn't recreate all of them. You can grab the required web\bin files in EWA, you don't need to do a full install

I actually checked to see that the files were put back in, but I was expecting all or nothing, so I didn't look closely enough. Adding them from the zip file you posted fixed everything. I can't thank you enough for sticking with this. Esteban |
