I'm not really following, sorry.

Quote:2010-03-30 22:57:22.667 VERBOSE SetFrequency(245250)

245250 is the frequency of a channel indeed. (actually it has to be 245.250, but I can't change that, does that matter?)

The only thing I did was update the EPG which gave all the channels and their frequencies. In 'channel name' it gives the frequency and the name of the channel. In 'channel number' it gave the frequencies by default, and that I had altered for the most watched channels to 1/2/3/4... to show up like that in the TV Guide.

Did I do something wrong there?

I think you may have entered the frequency in KHz and I think it needs in Hz (add three zeros ???)
The channel name can be almost anything. But it has to match with your EPG for the data to be matched and imported.
The "source channel" field is usually the national channel number (here in the UK, it is something like 30 to 69). Optionally the frequency can be put in the channel field.
TV guide order is done with the "channels" tab of config and this only affects the display order.

I changed my channel numbers using the Channels tab in Config. I don't change anything on the Capture Sources tab ... just map the broadcast channels to the EPG channels.

Are the values on the Channel tab also the numbers to use to go to a channel using the remote in Live TV?

As martin said above, you're missing three zeros. You've entered it in KHz instead of Hz.

You might be right there - I never change that way.

Thanks for all your answers!

The frequencies were indeed in kHz instead of Hz (didn't know that had to be). In the xmltv.xml, I added the zeros to all the channels. Was this the right method to do so?
Because now, I can change to all the channels (yey :-)), but the EPG won't update :-(.

Also, it still goes in stutters, not fluently at all.

Thanks for clearing the frequency problem. Hope I can solve these 2 little problems too.

PS: where can I change the display size of LiveTV? Because it comes with a black border all around it.

Hit the 'update epg' button in the config app, then zip and post the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Its probably related to the decoders you're using. Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

If you press F7 it'll cycle through the aspect ratio modes.

Well, I tried to reproduce the problems and now all of a sudden everything works perfectly .

I attached the logs. Maybe you can find why it isn't consistent.

Thanks!

I have to be more detailed: on the PC, it worked fluently, but not on the PCH.

Today I tried again, but the EPG updated and all the frequencies are in kHz again. Is there a way to alter this automatic change?

Thanks!
