Those logs don't show you trying to play a Shawshank Redemption.

ugh..I'm really struggling over here. I can't get any video to play on the PCH now. I'm thinking this is the root cause issue of me not being able to load the ISO files last night (I didn't try to play anything buy ISO's last night). Attached are the logs trying to open a .ts file. Sorry for being such a pain.

It looks like you changed the NPVR webserver port to 7647? You can do that if you must but there's a command line option in startmeup (-port 7647 ) To make my life easier use the default 8866. You'd also have to turn off the GBPVR webserver which you also have run on this port. If you have an MVP server in GBPVR set return it to 0.

OK, so I ended up reloading NPVR and I can now play video files. Not sure what happened there?!? I still can't play ISO files though. From your previous post I did the following:
1) Loaded NPVR on PCH 2) Attempted to run ISO file (file did not load) 3) Returned to PCH default menus 4) Telnet with Putty and typed '/etc/mvpmc/mvpmcx2' Attached are logs.

I don't see the info I want to see it the putty log. Maybe stop logging to flush the log?

I finally got a chance to try this again. Do these logs look better?

I am not seeing the new information in putty log. Maybe I have to give you a debug build of mvpmcx2 to see what I am looking forl.

Here is a post with a debug version of mvpmcx2 http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post420269 it is not 100% current, but it will log the DVD playback fine.

One thing I though of today, on my old GBPVR setup when I selected "mvpmc" in the PCH menus it would immediately load my GBPVR.html file. With NPVR, when I select "mvpmc" it takes me to a PCH menu with four icons (video, music, something, and documents). I have to scroll all the way to the right and select the document icon, then select NPVR.html. Maybe this has no impact but is a difference between the two setups. Could this be causing my issue?
I'll try using your debug version and report back. Thanks. |
