I had no idea that would need to be added as an exception. I had NextPVR added and thought that was it. I actually looked at the nrecord.exe, but soon dismissed it thinking that wouldn't make a difference...

I am all set now

Quick final question: If NPVR is in the middle of a recording and I try to change the channel (remotely) while streaming, will NPVR stop me from doing it being it is recording ?

If you're recording, and don't have another available tuner, it wont let you watch a different channel. The tuner is effectively locked to that channel fro the duration of the recording.
