Thanks OneStar!! I finally got it working. Once I updated the application to the version 2.45 and used your ini everything it works like a charm...yeah!!!
thanks that was the last (major) issue I had. One funny thing is that the application is not called ir32.exe but just ir.exe (but who cares it works)

One other thing for future readers - I had to change Onestar's previously attached .INI to match my default install. The funny thing was I had to use the old school 8.3 naming convention to get it to load GBPVR which was because it is located in the "[XP Drive]:\Program Files\ Directory which ir.exe will not recognize.
So I changed it to look like so this: GRNPOWER={run(E:\Progra~1\devnz\gbpvr\gbpvr.exe)}

I've just checked and its ir.exe. I am so sure I had a ir32.exe.......where did it go, or am I just losing the plot. :eek: Oh well as long as it works.

Just to be clear, the expected behavior is that if GB-PVR doesn't have focus, then you press the Green Button to get focus, and then it goes on from there. With the edited Irremote.ini file, that is how it's working on my system. Just too bad there's no way (is there?) to tell it that the default behavior for an up or down arrow, or for number presses, is to pass that along to GB-PVR also.
Any likelihood of that changing? Would I have better luck if I used a different remote? Thanks, Ewan

With the edit irremote.ini (in this post) GBPVR does not need to be in focus, at least not on my system. Does that not work for you ?
