Could you tell me if the name of the channel logos are case sensative ?
Also for programs with spaces or special characters, do I name the image files without them ? For instance "Criminal Minds" or "CSI: New York" ?

alibert Wrote:Hi,

One more question - when you open config.exe and switch to the "Channels" tab, do your channel names (first column) have leading digits?

Hi alibert,
yes the channel name has the numbers infront leading the channel name. You got me thinking about this and I started editing names to test. It seems to look for the the correct file now, but the channel # are gone from the listing now. heh err I mean DOH!

This has been the casewith zap2it and xmltv and via dvb source.. (at least from my experience) it seems to always create the channel names with the cannel #.

alibert. thanks for the reply Smile I guess its not a big deal just thought it was nifty that the default guide seemed to look for both. I don't always have a great success at getting my point accross tho I gather Wink

Cheers

No, they aren't.

the wiki page of the plugin Wrote:Invalid filename characters in the titles are removed when looking them up, so if you want to add an image for the show “CSI: New York”, you should name the image-file “CSI New York.gif”. Trailing spaces are also removed from the title.

Cursor to a show, hit Record button, get error dialog.
"List doesn't contain any scheduled recording!"
but it does add the show to Pending list and the show does record.

please attach your log files and I'll take a look. Does this happen for every show you're trying to schedule or did it happen only once? Is it somehow reproducable?

It's not reproducible and seems to happen at random. My wife said it happened a few times in the past week. I told her next time it happens to write down what the error dialog says. I just happened to be sitting here when it happened tonight. We haven't been able to make it happen again tonight. These are the most fun bugs to track down! Smile

All she did tonight was select TV Listings, move to a show later in the evening, then hit Record button.

Hi,

of course I need the log files that are written when the error occurs - the above ones do not show the error anymore.

Have a look at your logs subdirectory for the files GBPVR.exe-1.log, GBPVR.exe-2.log, GBPVR.exe-3.log if they contain the error message. If they do, attach them, if not, you'll have to wait until it occurs again and then attach the log files.
